Characters are the main playable people in Temple Run and its sequel, Temple Run 2. When you first play the game, Guy Dangerous is your default character. As you progress further, you might have enough to get more characters through purchasing them with Coins. However, Usain Bolt, and Bruce Lee are the only ones that required real money to obtain. Additionally, there's also Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Anubis, Cleopatra, Sigur Frostbeard, Freya Coldheart, and Wolfman whom can be obtained with Gems. Additionally, only Sir Montague can be obtained through ranking at least in top 5% in the Leaderboard Challenge. Although the characters appear different, their abilities and behavior are almost the same.
