Tamatoa is an unlockable character introduced in the May 2023 Blazing Sands update. He can be unlocked for 30 scrolls. In the July 2024 Blooming Sands update he was free by watching 7 ads.
In June he was added as a playable character in Temple Run+. He can be purchased for 25,000 coins.
